The Washington, Maryland, Delaware Service Station and Automotive Repair Association, (WMDA) was established in 1937 as a trade association serving independent business men and woman of service stations, repair facilities, convenience stores, and other related businesses. The Association offers advantages to all of our members by developing and delivering programs designed to enhance profits and reduce cost. WMDA offers protections by providing watchdog and lobbying efforts on legislative issues affecting member businesses. WMDA informs members by keeping an open line of communication within the industry by way of, an annual convention and trade show, bimonthly, monthly, and annual publications, and also by sponsoring educational opportunities for owners and employees.
If you have a business in the automotive aftermarket, WMDA is for you. Membership provides you with the opportunity to meet others in the industry that have similar objectives and concerns. WMDA allows you to take full advantage of programs, benefits, and services (described in detail in the Endorsed Programs section). WMDA “never sleeps”; we are always aggressively looking for additional and improved ways to serve you. Make an important investment in your business future. It is one of the best business decisions you will ever make.
The Council of Automotive Repair (CAR) was established in 2008, to provide a dedicated network for independent auto repair shop professionals in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Delaware.
